03 JanWedding Trends For 2010

With the New Year comes the new wedding trends for 2010. Whether you want to follow tradition or be a trendsetter – 2010 has amazing  options for all of the different styles of  brides. I have composed a list of what I think will be the hottest trends for 2010.  I predict 2010 wedding trends for the Bride is going to be about  colors !  Bold,  Deep and Rich Vibrant Reds, Bold Blues, and Dark Plumes. I can see some softer pastel color such as Yellows, Oranges, and Pinks for the summer months but for the most part I see colors that will stand out.  I think the Vintage Style is going to make a huge, huge… come back this season.  I think that the off the shoulder dresses  are going to be left in the last decade.   I predict that  you will see more daring Brides wearing  Black dresses embellished with lace and pearls, or White dresses  for a more dramatic statement by using black piping or embroidery.  I can also envision Red wedding dresses as the gown to capture the spot light.  With large satin bows or embroidery pearls and sequins.  There will be three  different types of  trends in this season.  For the Bride that is sophisticated you can expect to see a glamourours look like Greta Garbo style.  Which is marked with “sophisticated charm, sensuality and splendour, particularly in the field of the show and fashion”. You can expect to see lots of Lace with pearls and sequin detail and  designs that will richly adorn the dress. Mink or Fur stoles with Brooches to be the  accenting pieces.  I also see  two types of hair pieces. I think that Slouch Bridal Hats with feathers are going to be a big part of the trends or Feather Fascinators with Crystals and freshwater pearls. I see the hair styles are going to the trend of long flowing curls with the hair softly wispering along the frame of the face.  As for the look of the bride I envision a porcelain look with bold lip colors.  Remember that  the stylish is not especially made from charm:  It is more in the  way to look impeccable and classical.  For the Modern Bride I see  the  look for chic body-hugging gowns, White or Ivory hues with large bows or over-sized gemstones, glistening sequins and large pearls. with the hair pulled up in a classical style. The headpiece in the form of a crystal or beaded hair piece with a shoulder length veil.  A sheath or short cocktail dress would not be out of the question. For the Bride that is a Fashinova I predict Bling, Unusual centerpieces such as Ostrich Feathers with hanging crystals. or Diamond center pieces with votive candles surounding at the base. and out of this world design with bling everywhere. I imagine a Mermaid style dress trumpet flare at the bottom covered with ostrich, peacock or any natural feather. The accenting pieces will be adorned with crystals and beading with side head combs adorned with crystals or feathers.  The primary colors to be in the rich dark color palette. No matter what your style may be in the category of wedding trends  you can always find your own unique style.
