Are you planning on playing games at your shower and are limited on ideas? There are many types of games you can do or make at home that has no or very little cost. Baby bingo is a well known game to play at a baby shower. These are very simple to make up at home from you computor either from a software for games or if your familiar with using Microsaft Excel you can create a sheet with  25 squares using the center as the free space. Instaed of putting numbers on each of the squares, use little tid bits from baby items such as booties, pacifiers, baby bottles, diapers, baby pins, baby bib, onsie and so on. Then just write each of the names on their own piece a paper and when your ready, just draw the names and play baby bingo. You can use a baby shower favor as a gift for the winner of each time you play.

Another very popular game you can do very easily is the memory game. More than likely, either you, your family or friends can come up with many baby items you can use for this game. Some ideas you can use are diaper pins, pacifier, rattles, baby bottle nipples, baby lotion, baby shampoo or baby power. There are so many more items you can use and I am sure you will come up with some great ideas. Put the baby items in a box or a container, spread them around so they can be visible. Walk around to each of your shower guest so they can see and try to memorize each of the baby pieces. Make sure all your guests have a pen and paper, and once everyone has seen the items, tell them to jot down everything they remember. Again, the winner can receive a baby shower favor as a keepsake.

Another fun game which can last throughout the entire baby shower is Don’t Say the Baby Word. When each of your shower guests arrive, give them a clothes pin or a baby pin and have them attach it to their shirt or blouse and explain what the game is and how to play. Once everyone arrives you can start. Throught your baby shower, no one is allowed to say the word baby, the guest that catches that person saying the word baby, gets to take the pin from that person. Once you lose your pin, your out of the game and of course, the last person who doesn’t say baby is the winner.
