Now that the new year is upon us Brides are looking for the new wedding trends. I thought color would be a good place to start.  I was on the fence about this color as I wondered how you could incorporate it into the many styles of today’s weddings. So I set out to find what options I could offer my Brides in the way of floral. Well I was surprised at the most vibrant beautiful flowers that I think have been in hiding.. These are such a fantastic color ! If you are planning a wedding from elegant to whimsical these beauties are more than deserving to be in the spotlight. So I have picked a couple of flowers inspired by this juicy color !  I hope all my readers enjoy this post and are excited about this new way of making a color work in their wedding..

One of the most beautiful flowers of all time, which when fully open, rightly deserves the epithet “Magnificent Beauty”, which was the meaning of this flower in the Victorian “Language of Flowers’.

Coxcombs

This is the notable form of Celosia and composes a group of cultivars known as the “Cristata” family. In English we call these “Coxcombs” as they resemble the red comb on Cockerels. In Spanish they have the same name “Cresta de gallo”.  Coxcomb has highly decorative flowers,

Large and important member of the orchid family. These were once considered rare and exotic. Now the elegance of this delicate flower can incorporated into any arrangment.

As the name might imply, these tulips come from France. Actually, most of them were bred in Holland and belong to a class of tulips known as “Single Late”.  I just love..love this flower.

Roses are probably the most popular flower in the history.  Evidence suggest that roses have been used by mankind for thousands of years, as quite apart from its intrinsic beauty

Leucospermum

Leucospermum cordifolium, which feature flower heads of almost perfect spherical shape. These come in a range of bright tones of orange.

Carnation

Look at petals, Smell the sweet fragrant of this beautiful flower. One of my favorites.

Celosia Orange

 “Plumosa” family and feature tufted plumes of bright, tropical colors. These remind me of Fire ignited with passion.

Dahlia Ball

Stunning class of dynamic flowers in an almost endless array of colors, shapes and sizes, ranging from “Dinner_Plate” to tiny BB pompoms.

Lily Asiatic

The wonderful class of flowers we know as Asiatic Lilies today, are really an All-American achievement. The lily is a flower that can stand alone and make a hugh statement.

Garden Rose
